The Victim Services Division of the Yamhill County District Attorney’s Office provides a variety of services to crime victims and witnesses to help them in their time of need. For example, we assist with financial matters such as restitution for out-of-pocket expenses such as property loss or damage or reparations for medical expenses, counseling or loss of wages due to the crime.
We also make referrals for additional resources available to crime victims offered by various other state and local agencies.
No one chooses to be a victim of crime. We are committed to listening to victims’ stories with empathy and compassion. We stand firmly with crime victims to ensure they have a voice in the justice system and to preserve the dignity of victims as they go through the justice process.
